As I enter prayer now;

We are waiting, Lord, for the redemption you promise us in your word. We are just days away from the greatest display of your love for your kingdom. We must go through the darkness to see the light of hope and love that will be before us in just a few short days. For a wilderness has been transformed, into His holy place.
God, it can be so hard to know how to pray for North Korea—there is so much need and pain there, and the situation has been so bad for so long. And yet we see throughout history and in the pages of Scripture that You are always at work, even when things seem at their darkest. We pray You would give just a glimpse of Your light to your people in North Korea, and inflame the hearts of all believers who risk everything to follow You. Amen.
Jesus, as my light, illuminate and guide me.
As my shield, protect me.

Today be my core and aroma, gently powerfully

Father, help me to live this day to the full, being true to You, in every way.
