Watchwords

Watchword for the week

Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow.

Psalm 25:4

For our sins are piled up before God and testify against us. Yes, we know what sinners we are. We know we have rebelled and have denied the Lord. We have turned our backs on our God. We know how unfair and oppressive we have been, carefully planning our deceitful lies.

Isaiah 59:12-13

My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous.

1 John 2:1

Prayer

God, your love for us burns so strong that you sent your son, Jesus, to heal and forgive. Help us to express radical love for one another as Jesus surrounds us with his love and grace. Amen.
