Watchwords

Watchword for the week

Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.

Galatians 5:25

“Oh, why give light to those in misery, and life to those who are bitter? They long for death, and it won’t come. They search for death more eagerly than for hidden treasure.

Job 3:20-21

We give great honor to those who endure under suffering. For instance, you know about Job, a man of great endurance. You can see how the Lord was kind to him at the end, for the Lord is full of tenderness and mercy.

James 5:11

Prayer

Comforting Spirit, may those who are in misery and bitter in soul find comfort in your compassionate and merciful nature. We pray that you grant them the endurance of Job and the strength to persevere through their trials. May they trust in your plan and find hope in your light. Amen.
