Watchwords

Watchword for the week

No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead,

I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.

Philippians 3:13,14

“For if you return to the Lord, your relatives and your children will be treated mercifully by their captors, and they will be able to return to this land. For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful. If you return to him, he will not continue to turn his face from you.”

2 Chronicles 30:9

But I have pleaded in prayer for you, Simon, that your faith should not fail. So when you have repented and turned to me again, strengthen your brothers.”

Luke 22:32

Prayer

Merciful Lord, in a world of hurt and sickness, bestow on us the strength to endure and press on. Raise your thunderous voice of mercy over the cries of evil and hatred. Rally your servants, calling us each by name and sanctifying us to become messengers by abundant love and grace. Amen.
