Watchwords

Watchword for the week

Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.

1 Corinthians 13:12

O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water.

Psalm 63:1

The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” Let anyone who hears this say, “Come.” Let anyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who desires drink freely from the water of life.

Revelation 22:17

Prayer

God, who leads us beside still waters and restores our soul, refresh the parched places of our lives and quench our thirst for peace, confidence in faith, and reconciliation with those for whom we share life—both near to our daily lives and those far removed by national, philosophical, and theological borders. Amen.
