Watchwords

Watchword for the week

“Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone.

And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength.

Deuteronomy 6:4,5

Who is this who comes from Edom, from the city of Bozrah, with his clothing stained red? Who is this in royal robes, marching in his great strength?

“It is I, the Lord, announcing your salvation! It is I, the Lord, who has the power to save!”

Isaiah 63:1

Is it against the law for me to do what I want with my money? Should you be jealous because I am kind to others?’

“So those who are last now will be first then, and those who are first will be last.”

Matthew 20:15-16

Prayer

Mighty God, you have delivered us with your salvation and there should be nothing that we fear. We thank you for all that you have done for us, for being generous, and for giving us your very best. Through Christ, we have all become one and members of your fold. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
