Watchwords

Watchword for the week

Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry.

James 1:19

“O my God, lean down and listen to me. Open your eyes and see our despair. See how your city—the city that bears your name—lies in ruins. We make this plea, not because we deserve help, but because of your mercy.

Daniel 9:18

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.

Ephesians 2:8-9

Prayer

Gracious Lord, we may fail sometimes, but we find comfort in your great mercy. Help us to live lives that are pleasing to you, for we are redeemed by your grace. We pray this in your holy name. Amen.
