The people will declare, “The Lord is the source of all my righteousness and strength.” And all who were angry with him will come to him and be ashamed.

But Jesus was silent and made no reply. Then the high priest asked him, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?”

Jesus said, “ I am. And you will see the Son of Man seated in the place of power at God’s right hand and coming on the clouds of heaven. ”

Prayer

O blessed One, we await your coming in glory. Until that day, direct us to work to prepare for your kingdom on earth, bringing justice and healing to the nations, and humility and wisdom to our leaders. Let us join our alleluias with our actions in worship of you. Amen.
