Watchwords

Watchword for the week

But in fact, Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died.

1 Corinthians 15:20

I will lead blind Israel down a new path, guiding them along an unfamiliar way. I will brighten the darkness before them and smooth out the road ahead of them. Yes, I will indeed do these things; I will not forsake them.

Isaiah 42:16

As they sat down to eat, he took the bread and blessed it. Then he broke it and gave it to them. Suddenly, their eyes were opened, and they recognized him. And at that moment he disappeared!

Luke 24:30-31

Prayer

O risen Christ, as the dawn’s early light casts out the darkness of night from the earth, so may the light of your resurrection drive the shadows from our hearts. By the power of the new life you promise us, we will see each new each day as a personal Easter event, until that new day dawns for us in your eternal kingdom. Amen.
