Watchwords

Watchword for the week

O Lord, I will honor and praise your name, for you are my God. You do such wonderful things! You planned them long ago, and now you have accomplished them.

Isaiah 25:1

“Therefore, the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I promised that your branch of the tribe of Levi would always be my priests. But I will honor those who honor me, and I will despise those who think lightly of me.

1 Samuel 2:30

Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?

Romans 2:4

Prayer

Our world is filled with ignorance and illusion. As Christians, we are in this world but not of it. Holy Spirit, guide us as we endeavor to illuminate the dark corners, shadows, and voids by sharing in every word and action the good news of God’s salvation through Christ. Amen.
