Watchwords

Watchword for the week

The Lord is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love.

Psalm 145:8

Let the priests, who minister in the Lord ’s presence, stand and weep between the entry room to the Temple and the altar. Let them pray, “Spare your people, Lord! Don’t let your special possession become an object of mockery. Don’t let them become a joke for unbelieving foreigners who say, ‘Has the God of Israel left them?’”

Joel 2:17

He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds.

Titus 2:14

Prayer

Loving Redeemer, the price you paid for us was so high, we will never understand it. By your wounds, you have healed and restored us to your service. May we fix our eyes on you, so that we can prove to be worthy of your sacrifice. Amen.
