Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit.

Jesus, when we are in prison, entombed in the consequences of our own sin, speak to us words of hope. Pull us up, set us free. Place our feet securely on the solid rock of your love. Amen.
