Watchwords

Watchword for the week

“Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!

You can make this choice by loving the Lord your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. This is the key to your life. And if you love and obey the Lord, you will live long in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”

Deuteronomy 30:19,20

He said,

“I cried out to the Lord in my great trouble, and he answered me. I called to you from the land of the dead, and Lord, you heard me!

Jonah 2:2

And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows.

Luke 12:7

Prayer

Merciful Deliverer, in all the challenges of our lives, you are sufficient. In our times of need, may we turn to you in confidence, trusting in your presence with us and love for us. May we live by your strength and the assurance that nothing can part us from your eternal love nor keep us from our eternal home. Amen.
