Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching.

Remind us today, Lord, that when we earnestly desire to serve, your commands become a delight to live by. Generate within us true love for you, that we may serve you and show your loving care to our neighbor. Amen.
