Watchwords

Watchword for the week

“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.

John 14:27

Don’t be so angry with us, Lord. Please don’t remember our sins forever. Look at us, we pray, and see that we are all your people.

Isaiah 64:9

My dear children, I am writing this to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate who pleads our case before the Father. He is Jesus Christ, the one who is truly righteous.

1 John 2:1

Prayer

Savior Jesus, we try so hard to follow your teachings, but we so often fall short of your commands. We pray to you for forgiveness, so that we may regain our close relationship with you. We thank you for the Holy Spirit who advocates for us sinners. Amen.
