Lord, we know that the prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective. We see it in action daily. But sometimes when things are rough, we forget to pray to you or our prayers seem ineffective. Give us the courage to reach out to you, and remind us that your ear will hear the prayers of your people. Listen to us today, Lord, guide and bless us, now and forever. Amen.
