And now he has made all of this plain to us by the appearing of Christ Jesus, our Savior. He broke the power of death and illuminated the way to life and immortality through the Good News.
God, the time we spend on earth is very short. Keep us from worrying about collecting riches on earth and help us remember that our reward comes from Jesus, who conquered death and gave us eternal life. Amen.
