Sing to the Lord; praise his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.
Enjoy prosperity while you can, but when hard times strike, realize that both come from God. Remember that nothing is certain in this life.
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
Lord, we know that you did not promise us a life of happiness when we decided to follow you. Help us understand, when we face hard times in our lives, you are there protecting us. Amen.
